Now don't anybody panic, but I am updating ye olde blog.
I have been contemplating updating for some time now, but the many demands of a stay-at-home mom of 4 seem to have overtaken my body and I have found myself unable to compose a complete thought, let alone take said completed thought and put it onto blog for all the world to see.
I should mention that part of the busy-ness at the Everday Adevntures homestead has been related to the birth of Baby #4, hereafter referred to as Ruby. Ruby is 13 weeks old and growing, growing, growing. She is a wonderful little daughter and I thank God for her everyday. I have to admit that I was somewhat, ok, completely, unsure about having another baby, particularly when SweetPea is herself, still a baby, but I can honestly say I can't imagine my life without Ruby.
We have been in our new home, at our new church, in our new community now for almost 9 months. We continue to learn how to do life as a family of six, including 4 children 6 and under, in the beautiful country.
Superman will celebrate his 6th birthday very soon and he thinks it will be a perfect day if he could just have every Lego ever made, a puppy and a laundry list of other items. As you can tell, we have no struggle with materialism and our little guy. ;)
Ladybug is 4 and she is either the most amazing, sweet child you've ever met, or she acts a bit like her head is going to start spinning around and pop off her body. It's really a toss up. Most days we get a lot of both.
SweetPea is 20 months old and into the -ing stage, as in, talking, running, dumping, wiping, jumping, dancing, throwing.... etc. She is sitting next to me while I type, attempting to "help". She demands to know where "Daddy, my daddy" is at all times. She made me put her brother's plastic armor shield and hat on her. She is in love with all things chocolate and before lunch, I found her in her crib with poop all over her hands. It's good times all around.
Ruby is 3 months old and lavishing us with her smiles and giggles. More from her soon. :)
There you have it. A brief EverdayAdventures update. More to follow. I hope!
