So, apparently, the area I live in has a large concentration of pregnant women who smoke. Not cool. While at the lovely and terrific 4th of July parade the other day, I happened to be seated next to one of the wonderfully unintelligent pregnant smokers. Not only was my dear neighbor lighting up while smoking, she was CHAIN SMOKING. During the course of our time at the parade, she smoked approx. 6 or more cigarettes. (Not that I was counting... ok, I was definitely counting!) Not only that, but the 8 or so children with her, along with the others in her vicinity were treated to a lovely aroma of second hand smoke. Thank you dear woman, I had so hoped to subject my three children and one yet-to be born child, as well as my husband and myself to a cancerfest on the 4th of July! Sorry... just venting! :)
